Adding Text
Objective The objective of this section is to learn how to add text to your scanned image.
Text Tool You may not always need to add text to a scanned image, but if you do now is the time to do it. Tool Menu



  1. Select text tool (pictured as the darkened button to the right)



  2. Click on your image about where you want to put your text.



  3. Type your text into the text window. In the example below I typed in "This is your instructor". The menu also contains selections of font, size, etc. Make sure "Anti-Aliased" is selected.

  1. Select OK

  2. Adjust text position by clicking and dragging it into position.

  3. When you are satisfied with the text position click off.

Note: Go ahead and experiment with the settings in the text box. If you don't like the results you can just go to the "Edit" menu and select "Undo". Keep playing until you like what you see.

If you followed the above steps correctly you should see your photo with the text on it. See the sample below.
