Prerequisite Skills: Before entering this class you should already know how to access the internet. You should be familiar with what the web is and have used a web browser like Netscape or Internet Explorer. Finally it would be better if you have some experience creating web pages.
Objectives: This course will take you through the basic skills necessary to create web graphics:
  • creating directories
  • scanning
  • using the photo editing software Adobe Photoshop 3
  • saving the file in the proper format
  • inserting the image into an HTML page using Netscape Composer
Course Length: The course should take you approximately 2 hours to complete. It is recommended you print the following web pages to keep as a manual to practice these procedures by. It is also a good idea to bookmark this site so if you follow one of the links to another web site you can easily get back to this lesson. If you have difficulty at any point E-mail your instructor with your questions.
