Brightness and Contrast
Objective The objective of this section is to learn how to adjust the brightness and contrast of an image.
Brightness and Contrast It is often difficult to see the quality of your scan in the preview window of the scanning interface. One of the adjustments you will almost always want to make is to the Brightness and Contrast.

  1. Select the menu called "Image" then "Adjust" then "Brightness/Contrast"

  2. The following menu will appear.

  3. Make sure the "preview" box is checked so you can see changes as they happen.

  4. Move the slide bars to adjust the image to your liking.

  5. Select "OK" when you are satisfied with the image.
